I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my site. I pray your time here will be encouraging and uplifting.
I’ve always enjoyed how nature proclaims the glory of God. The picture to the left was taken at Hocking Hills State Park in Logan, Ohio just a few minutes after a pop-up thunderstorm. One minute my husband and I were hiking along enjoying the day, the next we were taking shelter in the overhang of the cliff and debating whether we should make a break for the car. As you can see we toughed it out and this picture was our reward. I love listening to thunderstorms in the relative safety of my home, but being out in one was a different experience. The only way to describe the sheer power behind the rolls of thunder and the heavy sheets of rain was that it was something of God.
While I certainly don’t imagine that what I write is on the same level as a summer thunderstorm, I do pray that in a small way my work would do the same job: bring praise and glory to the Everlasting God.
… whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. I Cor. 10:31
